![]() ![]() Note I have also tried PDW v3.12 without success. What am I doing wrong? Or is it that PDW v3.1 isn't compatible with Windows 10? I have also tried running PDW in compatability mode for XP, 7, 8, and running as administrator. All the drivers and Windows are up to date. Whenever I click on OK PDW pops up an error windows saying:Īs I have a discriminator output on one of my scanners, I have tried PDW with that by plugging in the discriminator output in to the computers Mic or Line In sockets, but PDW still says it's Unable To Open Audio Device after I've configured the PDW Interface for Discriminator input.Īll three computers are using the Motherboard Realtek sound chipset, the computers dont have sound cards installed. I've set PDW Interface Setup to Sound card, Custom, Sample rate 44100, and Soundcard to Cable Output. Windows Device Manager says VB Cable is working properly for input and output in the Audio Input and Output section and in the Sound, Video, and Game Controllers section. I've also installed and configured VB Audio Virtual Cable and configured it correctly in Windows Sound Setup, and in Windows Control Panel Audio devices as the default audio device. Each Virtual Cable is a one-way audio transport between applications, so you can transfer up to 256 independent audio signals between applications at the same time. ![]() I've installed PDW v3.1 on all three of my computers running Windows 10 Pro to try and get it to work. Works in Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista and XP systems (both 32-bit and 64-bit). ![]()
